Session reminders do not automatically stop play; they are designed to keep you aware of time spent.
A time-out allows you to take a temporary break from gambling. You can activate a time-out period of between 24 hours and 6 weeks. During a time-out, your account is suspended from all gambling activity — you cannot place bets, play games, or make deposits. Time-outs cannot be reversed or shortened before their expiry date. At the end of the time-out period, your account will automatically reactivate unless you extend the period or request self-exclusion.
Self-exclusion is a permanent measure available to any player who feels they need to stop gambling altogether. To request self-exclusion, contact our support team at [email protected]. Once self-exclusion is confirmed, your account will be permanently closed. Any balance remaining at the time of exclusion will be returned to you via your registered payment method. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed — kv8 will not reactivate a self-excluded account under any circumstances.
Deposit Limits Explained
Managing how much money you put into your kv8 account is one of the most effective ways to keep gambling within a budget. kv8 offers three deposit limit periods:
- Daily limit: the maximum total amount you can deposit in any rolling 24-hour period.
- Weekly limit: the maximum total amount you can deposit in any rolling 7-day period.
- Monthly limit: the maximum total amount you can deposit in any rolling 30-day period.
You may set all three limits simultaneously. The most restrictive limit in force at any given time will always apply. Taking a Time-Out
A time-out is the right option if you feel you need a short break from gambling but do not want to permanently close your account. kv8 offers time-out periods of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, and up to 6 weeks. You select the duration when activating the time-out, and the suspension begins immediately.
During a time-out you cannot log in to place bets or access casino games, you cannot make any deposits, and any promotional offers will be paused for the duration. If you believe you need longer than 6 weeks away from gambling, we strongly encourage you to consider self-exclusion instead of repeated time-outs.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion is for players who recognise that gambling has become a problem and want to stop permanently. Your account will be permanently closed, all marketing communications will be stopped, and you will be removed from any promotional lists.
Self-exclusion at kv8 is permanent and irreversible. There is no cooling-off period after which a self-excluded account can be reopened. kv8 will not accept new registrations from players who have previously self-excluded — attempting to register a new account after self-exclusion is a breach of our Terms and Conditions and will result in immediate account closure and return of funds.
